Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account and using Profitti, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. In these terms, the words Profitti, we and us mean the operator of the Profitti service, based in the United Kingdom.
2. What Profitti is
Profitti is an online tool that helps small businesses work out their profit, break-even point and margins from the revenue and cost figures they enter. It is not accounting software, it does not connect to your bank, and it does not provide regulated financial, accounting, tax or legal advice.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything that happens under your account. Please keep your account information, including your email address, accurate and up to date. You must be old enough to enter into a contract in your country to use Profitti.
4. Acceptable use
When you use Profitti, you agree not to:
- enter data you know to be false or fraudulent
- try to break, overload or interfere with the service or its security
- access any account or system without permission
- copy, resell or sublicense the service except as we allow
- reverse engineer or extract the source code of the service
- upload anything that contains viruses or malicious code
- use the service to break the law or infringe the rights of others
5. Your data and privacy
You own the data you enter. We store it securely to provide your analyses and history, and we handle it as set out in our Privacy policy. We do not sell your data.
When you use Profitti, we may create anonymised, aggregated statistics from your data and your use of the service, for example to produce peer benchmarks. This information never identifies you or your business, and you can opt out of contributing to benchmarks in Settings.
6. AI features
Some optional features use AI to suggest things, such as ways to reduce costs, messages to chase unpaid invoices, or marketing posts. These run only when you choose to start them. The suggestions are generated automatically from the information you provide and are for guidance only. You are responsible for reviewing anything before you act on it or send it.
7. Accuracy of analysis
Profitti works entirely from the numbers you enter. We do not check whether those numbers are correct, and the results are only as accurate as your inputs. The analyses, insights and recommendations are for information only.
8. No professional advice
Profitti is not an accountant, and does not give regulated financial, accounting, tax or legal advice. Before making an important business decision, please check it with a qualified accountant or adviser.
9. Availability, changes and your data
We aim to keep Profitti available at all times, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, change or withdraw features, and we will give reasonable notice of significant changes. Please keep your own copies of anything important. You can export your analyses at any time, and we are not responsible for data you have not kept a copy of.
10. Pricing
The core analysis features are free during launch and will stay free for early users. If we introduce paid features in future, we will make the price clear in advance, and you will never be charged without your explicit consent.
11. Our liability
Profitti is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss or corruption of data arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Any local consumer-protection rights that apply to you are not affected.
12. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. When your account is deleted, your data is removed from our systems within 30 days, except where we have to keep limited information to meet a legal obligation.
13. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms from time to time. Changes will not apply retrospectively, and we will tell you about significant changes before they take effect. If you keep using Profitti after a change, you accept the updated terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If you use Profitti from Nigeria or another country, this does not remove any local consumer-protection rights you have.
